(BRITISH IMPORT) MAXI DUNN makes sublime British pop music that draws a nice balance between two particular BRITISH artists: KATE BUSH and TRACEY ULLMAN. MAXI continues on where these artists previously left off...making her own special concoction of unique and artistically expressive pop music.
It's refreshing to hear and so much better the prefabricated pop music of today (Most of which lacks any real heart.)
There's a strong emotion here in Maxi's music that is spiritually akin to a female version the band SPARKS. This is the real deal and the listener can sense that a "love or leave it" attitude prevails in the heart of this artist.
